R26 is a recovery collection in the literal sense. It was designed and constructed during my recovery from facial feminization surgery. The body was the brief.
What does someone wear when they are healing? What touches skin that is tender, new, rebuilding? What holds the body without forcing it? What lets it move, breathe, soften, sleep?
Where SAMSARA was reconstruction and AKHET was construction, R26 is recovery — garments built from scratch around the body in its most vulnerable state.
The collection features only natural fibers: linen, wool, cotton, silk. No synthetics. No pressure. No friction. Each piece is built for compression, warmth, circulation, rest. Garments that feel like care.
