Full-grain cow leather. Full-grain is the outermost layer of the hide, the part most tanneries sand away, and it is the reason this boot will take a patina instead of cracking. The welt is stitched by hand, which is the construction that lets a boot be resoled rather than thrown out. Under it sits a high-density sponge platform, so you get the 10 cm without the weight a solid stacked sole would put on your foot all night.

The lace is one extended length of leather that wraps the shaft four to five times. The boot actually closes on the concealed YKK zip, so the lace stays exactly where you tie it. Eyelets are reinforced metal, which is the part that usually fails first on a lace this long.

Care. Wipe with a damp cloth, never soak it, and let it dry away from direct heat. Condition the leather two or three times a year to keep it fed. Store upright with the shaft supported so it does not crease at the ankle.

Shipping is included in the price. Allow 1 to 2 days for processing, 5 to 8 days for manufacturing, and 5 to 7 days for delivery. Import duty and tax on delivery are set by your country and are the buyer's responsibility.
