Why the tones are these tones
The CLUB runs on the RESERVE wheel, read off the American Express set. That wheel indexes exactly one thing: what a member pays. The platform’s own sections run on the MAIN wheel and index a section of the platform. The two never cross, in either direction. A CLUB tier may not take a MAIN family and a section of the site may not take a tier tone.
The one signed exception is Vers Capital, whose three pillars borrow GOLD, CERULEAN and PLATINUM on purpose. The account itself sits on MIDNIGHT and stays off the ladder. Full rules in Colour.
Picking one
- You just want free shipping. The entry rung. It is on every tier, so paying more buys you nothing extra there.
- You buy here regularly. Compare the monthly credit against what you actually spend, not against what you might.
- You are backing the thing. The top rung is deliberately the worst arithmetic on the board. It sells patronage, not arbitrage, and it is priced honestly as such.
