One cart, however many houses are in it. One charge. This is what happens between the button and the confirmation email.

One cart, many houses

Add anything from any house to the same cart. The marketplace resolves each line back to the house that sells it, so a single payment settles to several sellers at once. You never pay a house separately and you never see more than one total.

The order confirmation lists which house owns which line. Keep it. It is the fastest way to know who to contact if something is wrong, and it is what a return is opened against.

What we accept

• Cards. Major debit and credit, on a hosted card field. We never see or store the number.
• Wallets where your browser or device offers them.
• Store credit, if you hold it. It applies before the card is charged.

Payment is captured once, at the moment you confirm. There is no authorisation held and released later, and nothing is charged when an item ships.

Guest or account

A guest order is a real order with every protection a member order has. The only thing you lose is the ability to look it up yourself later, so keep the receipt. See Your account.

Tax, duty, and the total

Sales tax is calculated at checkout from the delivery address and shown before you confirm. Nothing is added after.

If the payment fails

1. Nothing is charged and no order is created. A declined card produces no partial state.
2. Your cart is preserved. Go back and try a different method.
3. If your bank shows a pending amount, it is an authorisation that drops off on its own. It is not a charge and we cannot release it faster.
4. Two confirmation emails means two orders. One pending line on your statement and one confirmation email means one.

After you pay

1. You get one confirmation email covering the whole order.
2. Each house is notified of its own lines and picks them.
3. You get a dispatch notice per house, with tracking, as each one ships.
4. Sellers are paid on the schedule in Getting paid.
